Dip Bread Chaat



Hello everyone and Welcome to my page....

Let’s cook another mouth watering snack...DIP BREAD CHAAT....

It is very easy to cook and if you like chaat, you will surely like it as well...

Ingredients:

Ø  Brown Bread Slices

Ø  Chick Peas Curry

Ø  Onion Slices

Ø  Reddish Slices

Ø  Mint Sauce


Method;

Chick peas Curry.

Ingredients
  • 4 cups boiled chickpeas.
  • 1 medium onion, finely diced
  • 2 medium tomatoes, finely diced
  • 2 curry leaves (optional)
  • 1 tsp vegetable oil
  • ½ tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tbsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • ¼ cup of coriander leaves, chopped
  • Salt to taste
For masala powder or spice mix:
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tbsp coriander seeds
  • 1 tsp fennel seeds
  • ½ tsp methi seeds
  • 2 pods of green cardamom
  • 2 cloves
  • ½-inch stick of cinnamon
Let’s Cook..
1.     Make a powder of all of the masala ingredients, in a spice grinder or a powerful blender. Set aside. You can also buy Chole Masala from market and save sometime.. J
2.     Heat the oil. Add cumin seeds. When they sputter, add the onions, curry leaves if using, ginger and garlic.
3.     Sprinkle some salt and saute, over medium heat, adding a teaspoon or two of water if the ginger and garlic start to stick.
4.     When the onions are translucent, add the tomatoes and the spice mix.
5.     Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the tomatoes darken and most of the liquid has evaporated.
6.     Add the chickpeas and salt and stir well to mix. Add 2 cups of water.
7.     Bring the chickpea curry to a boil, turn down the heat, and simmer for another 10 minutes.
8.     Add salt. Garnish with leafy coriander and serve hot,


Now the most time taking part is completed and it will take just 2 more minutes to cook it.

All you need to do is:

1.     Put this curry in a bowl.
2.     Bake the bread for 1 minute so that it become crispy.

3.     Dip a bread slice in it
4.     Take a plate, and keep the bread on it.
5.     Pour some more chickpeas curry on it.
6.     Now add onion and reddish slices on it.
7.     You can add tomatoes and other vegetables as well if you want.
8.     Sprinkle mint sauce on it.
9.     Sprinkle chaat masala

And the Joy is ready to serve.

The blend of hot and crispy Bread, Spicy curry ,cold onion and radish and relaxing mint sauce in your mouth will make you enjoy

2 in 1 Pasta---

Hello everyone and welcome to my page.

Your love and huge page views of Punjabi Pasta Recipe has made me to write another Pasta Recipe....

So here we go.

We will use less ingredients this time and still cook a delicious pasta.. for your kids,,let them find the surprise themselves in 2 in 1 Pasta....









Lets have a quick look at the ingredients,


Any 2 type of Pasta (I have taken Penne  and Spiral)

2 onions

2 medium or 3 small tomaotoes

1 Capsicum

Some beans

Salt

Red Chilly Powder

Vegetables
Pepper

Sauces (Tomato, Pasta Sauces, Schezwan Sauce)

As I said we will use less ingredients. You can add more ingredients if you want...

Method:

Very Simple..

Just Boil Pasta, Mix both pasta together...

Cut Onion , Capsicum, Beans as shown in Pic....
Add Sauces

Heat Oil in Pan and add vegetables and saute it for 3-4 minutes. 

Now add Salt, Red Cilly Powder and pepper in it and mix it well.

Now add sauces: 1 Teaspoon Tomato and Schezwan and 2 Teaspoons Red pasta Sauce..






Enjoy it anytime
Mix It well and serve hot...


The ingredients used in 2 in 1 Pasta are less, light and healthy.

Caution: you may end up over eating this pasta....:)..

Spicy Pleasure - Moth Kachori

Hello everyone and welcome to my page.
Let's cook something very spicy today.

Today we are going to cook Moth kachori.

It is a unique snack and has a good blend of spices. It is going to give your taste buds a different twist. 

Let's quickly have look at the ingredients.

1. Moth Bean Curry (Ingredients and method mentioned below)
2. Kachori (ingredients and method mentioned below)
3. Chopped onions
4. Chopped chilly
5. Mint Sauce
6.Chaat Masala
7. Salt
8. Red chilly powder
9. Pepper
10. Boiled Rice

Moth Bean Curry--


Moth beans are similar to whole green moong in terms of shape and size and is different in color.

It requires very minimal ingredients which are easily available. 

Step By Step Recipe For Moth Beans Recipe:



1) Wash 2 cups moth beans till water runs clear.

2) Soak it at least 4 hours. Discard the soaking water and drain the moth beans, keep it aside.


3) Heat the oil in pressure cooker on medium heat. Once hot add cumin seeds and let them sizzle.

4) Then add onion and green chilies. Sprinkle some salt.

5) Cook the onion till they become translucent.

6) Mix in chopped tomatoes.

7) Add turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and red chili powder. 

8) Mix well and cook for a minute.
9) Add soaked and drained moth.

10) Stir well.

11) Add 1 cups of water.

12) cover the pressure cooker, put the weight on. and let it whistle for 5-6 times. Then turn off the stove.

13) Let the pressure go down by itself. Then open the cover. Check beans are cooked or not.

14) If cooked properly then squeeze lemon juice.
15) Finally add lemon juice in it.

16) Mix well.

You can have chapati or rice with it as well..You can have it as a main course food.



Kachori:


Take 2 cups of semolina flour and 1 cup of wheat flour

Add 1 cup of warm water in it and make dough of it which is elastic but not sticky and leave it for 30 minutes.

Now knead the dough on a lightly floured surface and roll it as thin as possible. Size should be equal to a cricket ball

Take 2 cups of oil in a pan. Heat it properly,  deep fry the rolled dough until it becomes a light brown colored ball.

Now before going ahead, just mix chopped onion with red chilly powder, pepper, and chaat masala. This is our Onion Mix..

You can also add turmeric powder and salt in water while boiling rice to give it a beautiful yellow color.

Finally Moth Kachori:




Hey don't start eating Moth with kachori like that only...

You need to wait for just one more minute now..Just follow simple steps:

Crush 2 kachori in a Plate.

Now add little moth curry in it and mix.

Add mint sauce, chaat masala, onions mix, and boiled rice in it.

Add some extra moth curry so that all ingredients get mixed properly.

Now garnish it with some Boiled rice over it.


Serve hot and enjoy the Mix of spices in your moth oops mouth...
