Dip Bread Chaat



Hello everyone and Welcome to my page....

Let’s cook another mouth watering snack...DIP BREAD CHAAT....

It is very easy to cook and if you like chaat, you will surely like it as well...

Ingredients:

Ø  Brown Bread Slices

Ø  Chick Peas Curry

Ø  Onion Slices

Ø  Reddish Slices

Ø  Mint Sauce


Method;

Chick peas Curry.

Ingredients
  • 4 cups boiled chickpeas.
  • 1 medium onion, finely diced
  • 2 medium tomatoes, finely diced
  • 2 curry leaves (optional)
  • 1 tsp vegetable oil
  • ½ tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tbsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • ¼ cup of coriander leaves, chopped
  • Salt to taste
For masala powder or spice mix:
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tbsp coriander seeds
  • 1 tsp fennel seeds
  • ½ tsp methi seeds
  • 2 pods of green cardamom
  • 2 cloves
  • ½-inch stick of cinnamon
Let’s Cook..
1.     Make a powder of all of the masala ingredients, in a spice grinder or a powerful blender. Set aside. You can also buy Chole Masala from market and save sometime.. J
2.     Heat the oil. Add cumin seeds. When they sputter, add the onions, curry leaves if using, ginger and garlic.
3.     Sprinkle some salt and saute, over medium heat, adding a teaspoon or two of water if the ginger and garlic start to stick.
4.     When the onions are translucent, add the tomatoes and the spice mix.
5.     Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the tomatoes darken and most of the liquid has evaporated.
6.     Add the chickpeas and salt and stir well to mix. Add 2 cups of water.
7.     Bring the chickpea curry to a boil, turn down the heat, and simmer for another 10 minutes.
8.     Add salt. Garnish with leafy coriander and serve hot,


Now the most time taking part is completed and it will take just 2 more minutes to cook it.

All you need to do is:

1.     Put this curry in a bowl.
2.     Bake the bread for 1 minute so that it become crispy.

3.     Dip a bread slice in it
4.     Take a plate, and keep the bread on it.
5.     Pour some more chickpeas curry on it.
6.     Now add onion and reddish slices on it.
7.     You can add tomatoes and other vegetables as well if you want.
8.     Sprinkle mint sauce on it.
9.     Sprinkle chaat masala

And the Joy is ready to serve.

The blend of hot and crispy Bread, Spicy curry ,cold onion and radish and relaxing mint sauce in your mouth will make you enjoy
